Floorhand

Floorhand is a mobile app developed for Lightspeed. It lets associates quickly scan item barcodes and receipt barcodes to look up information about stock and sales.

It can also be used for the annual recount. Instead of carrying a barcode scanner and a laptop around the store, you can count inventory using just your phone.

Note

Floorhand is currently available only on iPhone and iPad.

Getting access

Floorhand is distributed through TestFlight, Apple’s app for testing apps before release.

1. Download the TestFlight app on your iPhone or iPad: TestFlight on the App Store.

2. Message Wyatt Ford on Slack and ask for a Floorhand download link.

3. Open the link on your device to install Floorhand through TestFlight.

Logging in

How you sign in depends on your role:

• If you have your own Lightspeed account, log in with your own Lightspeed login.
• If you’re an associate at a store, log in with the multi-employee Lightspeed account created for your store.
